Christmas Decorations (Outside)

Blogmas Day 17:

Hi everyone,

The decorations have been up since the 28th of November outside and they are shining bright and impressing everyone. The outside decorations took a while for the boys to put up and they had to install an outside plug socket for them to work. So it took a lot but it was worth it, the lights are beautiful. There are two different Santa lights, one with him climbing the wall on some ladders and another with him skiing down a slope, although the lights have broken on that one and he is stationary haha. We definitely need to buy some new ones ready for next year.

There is a Christmas tree on the wall that flashes between two different sizes of a tree and I think that is my favourite. There is also a flashing star right next to the door and it looks fabulous. There is also the string lights outlining the roof of the house and altogether they look amazing. I'm so happy with the way it turned out.

Weekend Make-up Essentials

Hey Guys, I spent the weekend at my mom's house and thought I would show you what I took with me in my make up bag. Firstly my bag is the Free bag that came with my Hugo Boss perfume I got for my birthday. It is the perfect size to carry everything in and it looks great. For brushes I have a spectrum A05 brush that came free with a Birch-box, I use it for my bronzer to lightly contour my face. I have the Real Techniques Buffing brush which I use for my powder and the Real Techniques Contour brush which I use for highlight.The Real techniques base shadow brush for eyeshadow and the Real Techniques Brow brush for my brows. I also have a Front Cover Fluff and Buff brush that I have have had for years, I use it for eyeshadow.  I also have a cheap spoolie for my brows. I have two beauty sponges that I got from Primark. Ant's Birthday Cake

Mmmmm, How delicious does that cake look? Trust me it does taste delicious too. Hey, This is my Boyfriend's birthday cake, it took me about 4 hours to make and decorate. But it was worth it because he loved it and so did everyone else. I definitely cheated when it came to making this cake. I wanted to make him a cake I knew he was going to love. He loves chocolate fudge cake, so I thought this is similar so I'll give it a try. This cake is a  Betty Crocker  Devil's Food cake mix. It can be bought from any super market and only requires 3 ingredients to make the cake. To make Ant's cake I wanted four layers so I bought two boxes of cake mix and followed the instructions on the box to make them. I them cut the cakes in half and waited for them to completely cool. My future sister-in-law makes the best buttercream icing I have ever tasted in my life so I asked for a helping hand on that.
